Maintaining CPHR Status


As a professional designation, there are requirements to maintain the CPHR including meeting Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Requirements and being a member in good standing by keeping all dues and fees to the Association current.


Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Requirements

CPHR holders are required to confirm that they have met the ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Requirements.  Currently, this is completed every three years the month prior to the individual's CPHR expiry date, and within the Association's stated submission period.  For more information, visit the CPD page.

Members who do not meet the CPD requirements will have their designation revoked.   


Member in Good Standing/Keeping all Dues and Fees Current

It is the CPHR holder's responsibility to ensure that they pay all invoices owed to the Association on or by the due date to remain a member in good standing.  In terms of annual membership dues, the annual dues cover June 1 to May 31 each year and are to be paid to the Association by May 31st each year.  *

*CPHR Holders who do not renew their membership through payment of the annual dues will have their CPHR revoked due to non-payment.    (late fees and/or reactivation fees will also apply)


CPHR Reinstatement Fee:  $100 plus HST


Important Note:  It is the CPHR holder's responsibility to ensure that HRANS has their current contact information by checking their online profile regularly to ensure it is current.  Should your information (address, phone, email, employer, etc) change, please ensure that your profile is updated accordingly online.
