HRANS is a professional HR association with members in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. With more than 1,100 members representing more than 550 organizations, HRANS is the largest professional association serving human resource practitioners in the Atlantic provinces.

Human Resource practitioners today require skills and expertise which are significantly more complex than in the past. In recognition of this need, it is the aim of HRANS to assist practitioners to meet these challenges by providing opportunities to increase their personal and professional competence and knowledge. The Association meets these needs through regular monthly dinner meetings and professional development seminars/workshops in Halifax, Sydney and Charlottetown as well as through the designation of the CHRP.
